 The cultural association was founded in 1995 in Milan, with the initial aim of being a basic theatrical training school. In 2003 it started to focus on theatre productions and the training of new methods in Italy and abroad, holding workshops for actors and directors.
From September 2005 the Centro Produzioni Teatrali began to travel around Italy to spread the culture of directing and help actors with a new and easier method of constructing characters, called "La memoria passata del personaggio" or "Inside Characters' Memories".
The Director Maria Stefanache runs the Centro Produzioni Teatrali and has worked in Italy, and both Western and Eastern Europe.
Productions began at the beginning of October 2003 and the first performance came out in 2004, entitled "A Gift to Actors" at the
CRT Teatro dell’Arte in
Milan, Italy, a play that was intirely organised, created and produced by our centre.
In 2005 the play was enhanced and is now our production that we offer in Italy and abroad with the title "Euripides and the Feminine Tragedies". |
